The NISAR Data User Guide aims to help those who study Earth's surfaces to find the information they need to access and work with NISAR data.

The NISAR Science Users Handbook was first published in 2019, offering an introduction to many mission science and applications objectives. The second edition was released in October 2025, shortly after the July 2025 launch of the satellite. The revised handbook reflects the evolution of aspects of the mission, while providing new information and expanded descriptions of the science and applications enabled by NISAR.
