Description
The Multi-Angle Snowflake Camera (MASC) University of Connecticut (UCONN) dataset uses three cameras in the horizontal plane separated by 36° to capture high-resolution photographs of snowflakes or other frozen hydrometeors in freefall from three views, while simultaneously measuring their fall speed. A CSV file is provided that includes additional details on each snowflake and hydrometeor that was observed. The MASC was deployed in 2023-2024. The dataset contains data from January 14, 2023 to March 21, 2024 as PNG images and a single CSV file.
