The Temporal Experiment for Storms and Tropical Systems (TEMPEST) studies atmospheric humidity by measuring microwave wavelengths that are sensitive to the presence of water vapor. It performs cross-track imaging at five frequencies: 89, 166, 176, 180, and 182 GHz.
