Delivery of Suomi National Polar-orbiting Partnership (Suomi NPP) satellite data products will cease on November 1, 2026. Data users should transition now to alternative products from NOAA-21 and NOAA-20.

False color image of Kati Thanda-Lake Eyre from the Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) instrument, aboard the Aqua satellite. The image was acquired on 2 June 2019. The false-color image utilizes MODIS Bands 7, 2 and 1 and it enhances the contrast between the water and the surrounding desert. The lake rarely fills up, but when it does, it is one of Australia's largest lakes.
