NISAR to release over 100,000 new data product files

The second data release since launch will include Level-1 to Level-3 L-band data products from locations around the world.

The NISAR (NASA-ISRO Synthetic Aperture Radar) mission team is in the process of releasing more than 100,000 Level-1 to Level-3 L-band data products via the Alaska Satellite Facility DAAC.

As the second publication of data since NISAR’s launch in July 2025, this release will provide the user community with a large volume of products from locations around the world to help them develop workflows to access the files, become familiar with time series, and start to work with the data.

The data products can be downloaded using Vertex Data Search and Earthdata Search.

Read more about the NISAR data in the NISAR Data User Guide. Submit your questions and comments to the Earthdata Forum.
