On July 4, 2025, the Suomi National Polar-orbiting Partnership (Suomi NPP) ground station in Fairbanks, Alaska, experienced a network outage causing a delay of L0 data. Currently, only half of the data and imagery for a given day are being received and processed. Track updates via the SNPP Fairbanks Network Outage webpage. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Delivery of new Suomi National Polar-orbiting Partnership (Suomi NPP) satellite observations will cease on November 2, 2026. Data users should transition now to alternative products from NOAA-21 and NOAA-20.
