This Brightness Temperature image of Tropical Cyclones Co-May and Krosa was captured on July 30, 2025, by the Visible Infrared Imaging Radiometer Suite (VIIRS) aboard the joint NASA/NOAA NOAA-21 platform. The two swirling storms appear in dark purple. Tropical Cyclone Co-May made landfall on the port city of Zhouhan in Zhejiang province, China, early on Wednesday morning, and was over Shanghai later that afternoon. Tropical Cyclone Krosa is currently in the Philippine Sea and is unlikely to make landfall.
