NASA's Earthdata Forum Releases New Filter Search Feature

The latest release of the Earthdata Forum allows users to search the filter categories of Discipline, Projects, and Services/Usage.

The Earthdata Forum provides a central, online location where data users can interact with subject matter experts (SMEs) to discuss data applications and research needs and to get answers to specific questions about accessing, viewing, and manipulating NASA Earth observation data.

The latest release of the Earthdata Forum (Version 3.3.2) now includes a Filter Search tool. The new feature allows users to search the filter categories of Discipline, Projects, and Services/Usage. This addition helps users easily identify desired options and is beneficial for navigating the growing list of 150+ project acronyms currently available.

Recent notable enhancements include:

  • Hover to display filter descriptions
  • Auto-save for draft messages
  • "Share these results" will auto-copy/paste to clipboard.
