Since 2016, the Satellite Needs Working Group (SNWG) has conducted a biennial survey to formally document and communicate the Earth observation needs of federal agencies to NASA and other space-based Earth observation providers (NOAA and USGS). By identifying gaps in current satellite observations, these surveys result in the development of solutions—new data products, services, or other investments—that directly support agency decision-making.

Celebrating a decade of innovation, partnership, and collaboration, NASA’s Satellite Needs Working Group (SNWG) Implementation TEam (NSITE) welcomes all past and current survey participants, solution teams, stakeholders, and partners to attend the SNWG 10-Year Showcase, where we will highlight the program’s impact across federal agencies, promote continued collaboration, and explore a path forward for the next decade and beyond.

Please note that a reception will be held behind a security checkpoint. Advanced registration is essential for attendance, and last-minute requests may not be accommodated. To register for this event, email Rhea Bridgeland by October 1, 2026.
