NASA's Phenomena Detection Portal is an online platform for visualizing the detection of multiple phenomena by machine learning models. Developed by NASA’s Office of Data Science and Informatics (ODSI), formerly the Interagency Implementation and Advanced Concepts Team (IMPACT), the portal leverages machine learning techniques to generate Earth science phenomena-specific event databases—easing the burden of sifting through massive numbers of images that are collected every day from satellite instruments.
