earthaccess is a community-driven python library that streamlines access to NASA's Earth science data and supports researchers who are migrating their workflows to the cloud.

This library handles Earthdata Login authentication, allows users to search data in the Common Metadata Repository, and download data no matter if you are downloading data from in the cloud or on-premises.

This tutorial will demonstrate how to preprocess the EMIT and PACE reflectance data so that they can be used together to investigate science questions. Using the emit_tools and pace_tools modules, the data are orthorectified, geolocated, merged where needed, and resampled onto a common grid, enabling direct comparison of observations from the two sensors.
