Description

The GSFC OMI/MLS L3 1x1deg Monthly Tropospheric Column Ozone product (TrCO3_Monthly_OMIMLS) contains tropospheric column ozone amounts averaged by month from October 2004 to present. Total column measurements are obtained from the Ozone Monitoring Instrument (OMI) on the EOS Aura satellite. Tropospheric column ozone (TCO) is derived by subtracting the stratospheric column ozone (SCO) estimated from the Microwave Limb Sounder (MLS) ozone profiles.

The data are stored in a single netCDF (classic) file. Data are averaged monthly at 1 degree x 1 degree resolution globally. The single data file size is 63.0 MB.
