NASA's Land Processes Distributed Active Archive Center (LP DAAC) has released the Visible Infrared Imaging Radiometer Suite (VIIRS) Version 2 Multi-Angle Implementation of Atmospheric Correction (MAIAC) data products. VIIRS Version 2 includes data products from both the Suomi National Polar-orbiting Partnership (Suomi NPP) and the NOAA-20 satellites. The VIIRS MAIAC data products are mapped to the VIIRS Rotated Sinusoidal (RSIN) Tiling System which utilizes a different horizontal tile alignment than the traditional VIIRS Sinusoidal Tile Grid as shown on the Tiling Systems tab on the VIIRS instrument page. More information about the RSIN grid can be found in the product User Guide. Included in these products are variables for surface reflectance and aerosol optical depth (AOD).
