At this time, users are advised to exercise caution when using S-NPP products while the instrument Calibration/Validation teams continue to assess data quality.
Standard processing is still on hold while we await a review by instrument Calibration/Validation and QA teams.
The Suomi-NPP spacecraft is experiencing an anomaly that started at 02:05 Universal Time (UTC) on August 2, 2026. All science data remains unavailable and will not be recoverable until further notice. The last granule for the standard processing was 21:54 UTC on August 02, 2026, and the last granule processed for near real-time processing was 00:06 UTC on August 3, 2026.
