The LAADS classic application programming interface (API) is officially being retired and will be replaced by the more advanced LAADS API Version 2 (API-V2).
To provide a better and more efficient user experience, API-V2 has been designed as a JSON / REST-based API. This updated web service empowers users to seamlessly search for and order/download LAADS data products using a robust, programmable interface.
We encourage all users to begin transitioning their automated workflows, scripts, and clients to API-V2 to ensure continued, uninterrupted access to LAADS data products. Please consult the API-V2 documentation for details on endpoints, query parameters, and how to format your new JSON/REST requests.
