NASA's Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) Adaptive Processing System (MODAPS) will undergo scheduled maintenance on June 15-16, 2026. During this time, users may experience temporary service interruptions or downtime when accessing data from the Land, Atmosphere Near real-time Capability for Earth observation (LANCE), Level-1 and Atmosphere Archive and Distribution System Distributed Active Archive Center (LAADS DAAC), and Fire Information for Resource Management System (FIRMS) archives.
On June 15, the secondary LANCE servers (NRT4) and FIRMS2 will be affected. On June 16, the primary LANCE servers (NRT3) and FIRMS will be affected.
